Conflict. Nosmas Beats
Two people, one landing

Conflict

By Nosmas Beats · Dancehall · out Friday 2 October 2026

Conflict starts with a phone ringing and two words. Who's this. Everything after that is the argument that was always coming.

There are only two voices on the record. Him: low, rough, more tired than angry, which is worse. Her: full dancehall fire, every syllable landing, the loudest voice on the track. The man on the other end of the phone never speaks at all. He has no verse and no name. He is a silence on a line that goes dead, and you cannot fight a silence, so the two people who love each other end up fighting each other instead.

Him nah want no crown, him just want fi know har heart.

The verses rise, the chorus refuses

That is how the song is built. Every verse gets sharper and faster, trading lines until the bridge is two people finishing each other's sentences in anger. The chorus will not follow them up. It stays big, soulful and calm, the part of the song that already knows nobody wins this.

The little one on the landing

The real audience is on the stairs. A six year old who has already learned to go quiet when the two people who love him start. By the end the question has stopped being a question, and the last lines say what the song was about all along: he is going to remember this one anyway. Not who won. Just that it was loud.

If any of this lands close to home

The video shows an argument between two parents, heard by their six year old son. It is an argument, not violence, but plenty of people carry something that a song like this can stir up. If that is you, or someone you know, these lines are free and open now.
